DRUM

Manufactured from 50mm 50A hard wearing steel. Steel thickness can vary dependant on target weight. Commonly the dishend is 6mm with drum skin, blades and capping 5mm.

TRANSMISSION

The drum is turned by a planetary gearbox which is hydraulically powered by a motor, driven from a pump which can be driven by an auxillary engine or PTO. Current suppliers are Sauer Sundstrand and Eaton Hydraulics.

DRUM ROLLERS

Manufactured from forged steel with taper roller bearings and fitted to adjustable robust brackets.

DISCHARGE CHUTES

Manufactured from 3mm 50A hard wearing steel. 2948mm discharge length.

WATER SYSTEM

High pressure water pump coupled directly to the planetary gearbox. Unique static cooling system eliminating the possibility of mechanical breakdown. A choice of water tank is available. 500 litre capacity water meter fitted. Wash down hoses fitted top and bottom. Spray bar to assist in cleaning of mouth panel and dust elimination whilst loading.

PAINT SHOP

Mixer and chassis can now be painted on site.
